I Built a Weatherman That Also Tells Me the News
So I have a weatherman, which also tells me the news

To beat the summer heat, I needed to track my home's temperature and humidity. I also wanted to escape algorithmic feeds and catch Hacker News, astronomical events, and air quality at a glance. So I dusted off a LILYGO T5 e-paper display with an ESP32 and, using Claude Code, built a static dashboard that pulls weather, AQI, markets, and HN headlines over Wi-Fi from a Clojure server.
One fine day, I decided to use Claude Code to finally build something for it, and use it as a static display which serves things I mentioned above.
