LispBM brings Erlang-style concurrency to microcontrollers

LispBM is a Lisp/Scheme-like language for microcontrollers that borrows Erlang's concurrency, message passing, pattern matching, and process monitoring. It runs on 32- or 64-bit platforms including STM32, NRF52, ESP32, and x86, and can be built on ChibiOS, FreeRTOS, ZephyrOS, bare metal, Linux, or Windows. A WebAssembly REPL is available to try.

    LispBM (LBM) is a Lisp or Scheme-like programming language for microcontrollers. LispBM also borrows a couple of ideas from Erlang when it comes to concurrency, message passing, pattern matching and process monitoring. The LispBM runtime system can be compiled for either 32 or 64-bit platforms and runs on a wide range of hardware such as, for example, STM32, NRF52, ESP32 or X86. When running the LispBM runtime system on a microcontroller, it can be built on top of ChibiOS, FreeRTOS or ZephyrOS or, if you are adventurous, on bare-metal. LispBM can also be built to run on top of regular Linux (and now even Windows).

    I was hoping to find a 'blink the LED' example for the ESP32. Then I'd like to see 'Blink a LED at 1Hz and another LED at 1.234Hz' (or any pair of frequencies where one does not divide the other).

    1. I didn't manage to find a non trivial (i.e. Hello World) example anywhere on the website. That should be one of the first things greeting my eyes, especially since the colloquial Lisp family is so large you can't easily infer the syntax.

    2. A Lisp without Emacs support other than syntax highlighting?
