Alan's Random Insult Generator (1999)
Alan Bellows dug a random insult generator out of a dusty corner of his code archive — written, he says, when he was first learning "a fancy new language called Javascript." The Hacker News thread swaps memories of the Shakespearean Insult Generator, the 90s Insultinator toy, and Guy Macon's Insult File, with one commenter noting the page is Y2K certified.
I found this in a dusty corner of my code archive, and it made me laugh, and thought it might do the same for others. I wrote this when I was first learning a fancy new language called "Javascript."
