Gloria Steinem, groundbreaking feminist campaigner, dies aged 92
Gloria Steinem has died

Gloria Steinem, the iconic American feminist and journalist, has died at 92. Her activism and writing helped bring feminist perspectives into the mainstream, from her undercover exposé as a Playboy Bunny to co-founding Ms. magazine. She campaigned on issues from reproductive rights to racial equality, and remained a vocal critic of Trump, co-chairing the Women's March. Her family announced her peaceful passing at home in New York City.
The only good news of Trump is that the galvanising of activism is like nothing I have ever seen in my life.

I know it looks bleak right now with wealthy and powerful men tearing down every institution that feminism, progressivism, etc built, but remember that the political pendulum inevitably swings the other way.
We can have justice, and we will.
Disregard for consent is driving the insanity at the highest levels. I hope anyone reading this remembers their own power in resisting the machinations of the greedy who can never have enough, and puts their energy towards organizing for a brighter future for people and planet.
