Mozilla has introduced Ad Blocker for Firefox on iOS, a built-in option that blocks many third-party ads and ad-related trackers before they load. Using Apple's WebKit Content Blocker technology and the EasyList filter list, it's off by default and can be enabled in Settings > Browsing > Ad Blocker. While it won't block all ads—site-served ads and search result ads still appear—it complements Firefox's existing privacy protections. This move addresses the lack of extensions on iOS, giving users more control over their browsing experience.
