Ex-Crips leader found guilty in 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur
Duane "Keffe D" Davis, a former leader of the South Side Compton Crips, has been convicted of orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting death of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas. The verdict marks the first conviction in a case that has haunted hip-hop for nearly 30 years. Prosecutors argued Davis ordered the shooting and supplied the gun used by his nephew, Orlando Anderson, as retaliation for a fight hours earlier. Davis, who had publicly admitted his role in interviews and a memoir, now faces sentencing on October 13.
When you have the shot caller sitting shotgun when shots are fired, there's no doubt he's responsible.

Gangsters telling on themselves can be almost funny from a distance, but that violence and lack of justice is real. It's hard not to feel sick to your stomach when you see a case like the Nathan Leigh shooting, where a Toronto gangster did broad daylight execution (attempted) on camera, beat the case, and has been rapping about the crime for years later [2].

edit: just watched the youtube video in full, and it isn't an admission. It's just discussing the shooting in general, and he puts blame on others.
