$900M wind farm settlement payout lands with firm run by Trump's Mar-a-Lago neighbor
$900M paid out to end wind farm project going to firm run by Mar-a-Lago neighbor

A Washington Post report reveals that $900 million from a $1.2 billion settlement ending RWE's offshore wind projects will go to Stonespeak, a firm led by Michael Dorrell, an Australian billionaire and Trump donor who owns a home near Mar-a-Lago. The deal, which forces RWE to invest in conventional energy, has drawn accusations of corruption from Democrats, though the White House denies any conflict of interest.
These fake 'settlements' were already an insane waste of taxpayer funds and a ridiculous charade that seems to be blatantly illegal. This now adds the stench of corruption.

It would be tempting to label this as regular grift, but, one of the few areas the guy’s been consistent is his Quixotic quest against windmills

How does he get to spend $900M without the approval of Congress?

self-dealing corruption is so rampant in this administration that $900M going to some Trump buddy is just another day in America
