Kodak DC50 camera now works with Apple II

Quicktake for Apple II, a program for using digital cameras with vintage Apple II computers, now supports the 1996 Kodak DC50 Zoom. The update adds full camera control, picture download, and thumbnail previews, plus a faster 115200bps transfer speed. The author reverse-engineered the camera's protocol using tools like dcraw and libgphoto2, and documented the cable wiring. The release also includes numerous improvements to the serial drivers, decoders, and UI.

It has both internal storage and a PCMCIA slot. Mine came with a 6MB storage card, which is a ludicrous amount of storage, allowing for 92 low quality pictures or 36 high quality ones.
