9front "This Was Supposed to Be Fun" Released
9front, the Plan 9 fork, has released version 11952, codenamed "This Was Supposed to Be Fun." The release includes a revised affinewarp API, a new gdbfs tool for mounting remote gdb as /proc, a Synaptics touchpad driver, a battery driver for UPS, SHA3 support in libsec, and x2APIC support in the PC kernels. Installation media are available for PC, Raspberry Pi, MNT Reform, and QEMU.
