RCade: An Arcade Cabinet with CI/CD and Custom CRT Graphics
RCade: The Arcade Cabinet with CI/CD Deployment, Custom Graphics Card for CRT [video]
I built RCade, a unique arcade cabinet that integrates modern CI/CD deployment pipelines directly into its operation. The project features a custom graphics card specifically designed to drive CRT monitors, blending retro aesthetics with contemporary development workflows. This setup allows for seamless updates and authentic visual performance in a single, cohesive system.
Merging CI/CD deployment with a custom graphics card for CRTs creates a truly unique bridge between modern development and retro gaming.

This was a video I needed to see today! While most of tech is navel-gazing about the not-too-distant future, it feels so nice to see a presentation that looks straight out of Babycastles circa 2011.

I was in batch when the cabinet arrived! It gave me a tiny glimpse into how early Atari engineers must have felt when given a wooden box and told to make it fun. So proud to see it reached its full potential <3
