fx is a tiny, open-source coding agent harness and CLI written in Zig, designed for research and embeddability. Its binary is just 6.39MiB, cold-starts in 10µs, and runs as WebAssembly via the Zig toolchain. With a minimal memory footprint and a shell-like UI, fx is context-efficient and extensible through skills, plugins, and MCPs. It's model-agnostic, suitable for local or cloud inference, and ideal for resource-constrained environments.
