Walk Through Your Jellyfin Library as a 1990s Video Rental Store
Halcyon Video – a 3D video store for your media server

Halcyon Video transforms your Jellyfin library into a fully explorable, 3D video rental store built with three.js. Browse aisles lined with your actual movie cases, inspect back covers with real metadata, rent titles with a soft-body bag simulation, and even play games via RomM. The store runs on an HTPC, idles at near-zero resource usage, and supports optional features like rental rules, a clerk with genuine recommendations, and Jellyseerr integration for requesting missing titles.
This isn't a tech demo that gets old in five minutes; it's how our family has picked a movie every night for months.

A 3D video store architecture is a fascinating approach to spatial media management. Great to see more 3D-first tooling popping up.

You need to hire someone to just record judgy videos of each of the famous titles, to get the full effect. Make it look like a 16bit era videocoded like nighttrap or myst.
