Tencent released Hy4, its latest open-source large language model, with weights and system cards promised in the coming days. It adds visual understanding and computer-use capabilities for the first time, plus gains in instruction following, long-context comprehension, and long-horizon agentic tasks. In a blind evaluation of 579 real-world financial tasks judged by 213 professionals, Hy4 topped DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash and Kimi K3.1 Pro. Pricing stays at about $0.90 per million input tokens.
