Catcopter - Browser-based multiplayer aerial cat combat
Show HN: I built a multiplayer game where you're an aerial fighter cat
Catcopter drops you into fast-paced aerial battles as a flying feline fighter, no downloads required—just open your browser and take off. In Catnip Brawl mode, it's every cat for themselves: grab catnip and knock it out of your rivals' paws. Choose your loadout, like the Gunship with four paw rotors, a machine gun, and balanced stats that make it an easy entry point for newcomers. With quick matches, simple controls, and playful chaos, Catcopter turns a silly idea into an instantly playable multiplayer arena that anyone can jump into and enjoy.
Four paw rotors and a machine gun—the all-rounder that makes aerial cat combat easy to pick up and hard to put down.

Miss the days where these kinds of posts were a jumping off point for technical discussions about gamedev. Guess learning that people use a whole stack of LLMs for these kinds of projects now is also interesting.

Owning a domain for 13 years before actually doing the project is the most relatable thing.

How were the cat’s movements such as its flight the motion of its wings or propeller and its head movements created? did the ai generate pre-made animation clips or are the movements calculated in realtime via code?

It's pretty fun! I can see a lot of "AI-markers" in the assets, but these things can be improved over time. The concept and mechanics are quite cool, keep it going!

Was kind of hoping this would be more like SWAT Kats
