NBA Signs With Kalshi and Polymarket, and Keeps the Right to Veto Any Bet
NBA announces partnership with prediction markets Kalshi, Polymarket
The NBA has struck agreements with Kalshi and Polymarket, making them the league's preferred prediction-market exchanges. The companies get official league data, team logos, and broadcast advertising rights; in return, the NBA can approve or reject which markets they offer, shares data for investigations, and gets help policing insider trading. The league also signed a memorandum of understanding with the CFTC and will extend prediction markets to its DraftKings deal.
Other leagues have moved before we did, and you know we have been having conversations with folks in this industry for quite some time, and we were not going to move forward with the industry until we had the right regulatory framework put into effect.
