AI writing averages out style and precision, making readers slower
On AI writing

A writer whose bachelor's thesis identified authors from short paragraphs argues that AI-generated text loses two things: style, because models average it out, and precision, because they must make assumptions to stitch text together. Without style, readers lose context and empathy; without precision, they must decode ambiguous words. The result: slower reading, more verbosity, and eroded trust between writer and reader.
Personally, I feel that I am at least a third slower reading AI-generated text, even if the length is the same.
