Steam fans beg Valve for a no-AI filter as Next Fest drowns in vibecoded slop
Steam Users Beg for "No AI" Filter as Vibecoders Flood Next Fest

Steam Next Fest is barely a day old and already awash in games with AI-generated art and vibe-coded builds, and players are fed up. On Reddit, users are demanding a filter to hide AI content, pointing out that Valve already requires developers to disclose it. One thread declares AI has "ruined Next Fest." The timing is awkward: Epic just delayed a Star Wars shooter to go "AI-first," and Capcom is folding AI into its RE Engine.
I've been looking over the Next Fest, and I really enjoy the Discovery Queue feature, I just wish I could personalize it a bit more. Specifically, I would like the ability to filter out all games that have AI-Generated content in them.
