Dovepass - Drone flight legality checker for San Francisco routes
Show HN: Dovepass – can I legally fly a drone along this exact path in SF?
Dovepass answers a deceptively simple question: can I legally fly my drone along this exact path in San Francisco? Pick a takeoff point, a destination, and your drone model, then get a clear go or no-go verdict. It cross-checks FAA airspace and airport zones, temporary no-fly zones, Giants home games, SF city parks, the Presidio, national park land, the Golden Gate Bridge, buildings, terrain, wind, and battery limits. You also get a height profile along the route, a printable flight card, and files for your drone app. Built as a research prototype, it follows Part 107 rules and reminds you that you're still the pilot in command.
Pick a takeoff, a destination and your drone, then press Check this flight — you'll get a clear answer, what to do, and files for your drone app.
