JDK 28 brings value objects and structured concurrency to Java

JDK 28 is set to become the reference implementation of Java SE 28 under JSR 403. Its targeted JEPs include previews of Value Objects and strict field initialization, an incubating simple JSON API, finalized Structured Concurrency, ahead-of-time code compilation, and several ZGC and Shenandoah improvements — plus deprecation of the macOS/x64 port for removal.

This release will be the Reference Implementation of version 28 of the Java SE Platform, as specified by JSR 403 in the Java Community Process.
