Porsche Mission S: A Driver-Focused Sports Car with a Mid-Engine and Analogue Soul
Porsche's Mission S concept strips away distractions to focus on the driver. A mid-engine layout, wraparound main line, and torpedo-style fenders reinterpret classic Porsche design. Inside, a red button disables driver assistance for pure driving, while a central analogue rev counter and height-adjustable gear lever emphasize tactile control. The result is a timeless sports car that blends past icons with future vision.
A red button. A conscious decision. Activating the ‘On your own’ driving mode on the steering wheel deactivates the driver assistance systems. For driving pleasure in its purest form.

Porsche. “Aluminum key”
Tesla roadster. “Drives upside down, flies, does flips, 0-60 in 0.81s”

Rooting for them but doesn’t look very Porsche to me.
Lightly related, here’s the design patent for the original Targa design:

Landing page design is really bad. For a bit, I was not sure if I had landed on a generic WordPress blog.

wheels look like if apple inexplicably released a new CRT monitor and made a throwback ad for it https://files.catbox.moe/m6mi25.png
