Better HTTP/1 connection reuse in Go 1.27

Go 1.27 makes HTTP/1 connection reuse nearly 5x faster

Go 1.27 fixes a long-standing HTTP/1 performance pitfall: unread response bodies forced net/http to abandon connections, causing repeated TCP and TLS handshakes. The new Transport automatically drains up to 256 KB or 50 ms asynchronously before closing, so a simple 100-request benchmark drops from ~710 ms to ~150 ms. Developers can now just close bodies without manual draining.

Go is all about simplicity. Let your code stay clean and simple, and let net/http deal with the complexities on your behalf.
