Total Annihilation returns as an open-source engine you can play in your browser
Total Annihilation, rebuilt for modern computers

Nanolathe is an MIT-licensed, clean-room reimplementation of Total Annihilation that runs natively on Windows, Mac, and Linux, or in desktop Chrome, Edge, and Safari. The public beta includes single-player skirmish, Survival, and campaign modes, plus online multiplayer with your own game files. A three-mission browser demo requires no installation. Modern GPU rendering adds lighting and glow, with a Classic mode for the original look.
