Nokia 110 AI Agent - Chat-powered native phone control
Show HN: I Put an AI Agent on a Nokia 110
This project reverse-engineers the firmware of a Nokia 110 4G to run a native AI chat app. Using the number pad, you can ask questions via DeepSeek chat API and control phone functions like calls, alarms, torch, and battery checks. The agent runs on the phone's 48MB RAM, leveraging tool calls and custom compression. It's a working prototype loaded from a computer, but once loaded, it runs unplugged on mobile data. The developer overcame challenges like firmware modification and memory constraints, showcasing the potential of AI on feature phones.
Once loaded, it can run unplugged using mobile data. We can add as many features as we want and make almost all the operations in Nokia 110 automated.

Is there any way to add custom apps to this series of Nokia phones? It's so annoying that 20 years ago mobile phones were running Java apps (J2ME), and now - nothing.
