A 1993 BBS session in Mexico, resurrected from a 64K floppy disk
La Cueva BBS in Mexico in 1993 (session replay)
In 1993, Óscar Toledo G. used a homebrew Z280 computer and a 2400-baud Hayes modem to call La Cueva BBS in Mexico. He captured a 64K buffer of the session, which he recently rediscovered on an old floppy. Now he's turned that data into a JavaScript replay using an adapted jsTerm, letting you watch the BBS as it appeared over 30 years ago.
Almost nothing was saved from that time, but for some reason in one of my modem sessions, I saved a whole 64K buffer of my activity calling La Cueva BBS.
