The web industry is struggling, but the web itself isn't going anywhere. To future-proof your career, focus on skills in short supply: accessibility, deep CSS knowledge, and strong communication. Reject fascism in tech, and drop dead weight like React, GitHub, and influencer culture. Go back to basics and position yourself for when demand returns.
Remember that above all else: the web is a human creation for human needs. Those needs are not going anywhere.
