Nightwatch - Mac menu-bar app for telescope imaging conditions

Show HN: Nightwatch – a Mac menu-bar app that tells you when tonight is clear

Nightwatch is a silent macOS menu-bar app that tells you when tonight is clear enough for a long imaging session and what to point at. It fetches cloud, dew point, wind, and visibility every 30 minutes, computes astronomical darkness and target visibility locally, and alerts you an hour before sunset when conditions look good. With a customizable go rule, it recommends the best targets for your telescope and clear window. It also shows the week ahead, dark sites, your horizon, and celestial events. Free and open source under MIT.
