A 20-Year-Old With a Cybercrime Past Now Faces Felony Charges in Six States Over Social Security Data
Big Balls Now Exposed to Serious Criminal Charges in at Least Six States

Edward Coristine, known as 'Big Balls,' was fired at 17 for leaking secrets, ran a web service for a cybercrime group, and is named in a whistleblower disclosure over a copy of every Social Security record. Now the OPM director calls him a model federal employee. But his actions may constitute federal crimes under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Privacy Act, and obstruction of justice, and at least six states can prosecute because the copied data includes their residents.
Edward has been terminated for leaking internal information to the competitors. This is unacceptable and there is zero tolerance for this.
