Effect 4.0: 6.4x Faster, 86% Less Memory, and Zero Dependencies

Effect 4.0 has been released, rebuilt from the ground up for massive performance gains: 6.4x higher concurrent task throughput, 86% less memory per fiber, and a minimal bundle size of just 7.1 kB. The core package now has zero runtime dependencies, and the ecosystem is unified under a single version. With 43.9 million weekly npm downloads and adoption already outpacing 3.x, Effect is now used in production at companies of all sizes. The release also introduces a long-term support policy, guaranteeing bug fixes until at least September 2029.
