DragomanD is a per-user Linux daemon that brings fully offline machine translation to any desktop app via D-Bus. It runs Mozilla's Bergamot/Marian models locally, so text never leaves your machine. One shared service means every app—editors, browsers, LibreOffice, KRunner—uses the same API and one copy of each model, with no idle cost. Version 0.1.0 includes a CLI client, install-on-demand downloads, and integrations for KRunner, GNOME Shell, LibreOffice, and KTextEditor. Bulgarian and English work end-to-end, with all Mozilla-published pairs in scope.

Private by design: text never leaves the machine. The network is used only to download models, and updates are checked only when you ask.
