Plato's Five Platonic Solids: The Mathematical Art of Origami
Mathematical Origami

Mathigon's Mathematical Origami collection offers folding instructions for Platonic and Archimedean solids, stars, and compounds. Plato linked the five Platonic solids to the classical elements, and the site provides 3D models via Polypad for interactive exploration.
Platonic Solids are the most regular polyhedra: all faces are the same regular polygon, and they look the same at every vertex.

The 'origami ball' on the bottom left doesn't link to instructions.
In case anyone wants to make it, you can google 'venus kusudama'

I always wait for someone to post origami on Hacker News so that I can publicize my own work on origami:

Modular origami construction of various mathematical solids was pioneered by Tomoko Fuse in the 1980s.
