Big Tech dominates the top of the ranking, with Microsoft, Alphabet, and Meta each retaining more than $30 per $100. At the other end, several major retailers, health care companies, and energy firms keep less than $5 per $100.

Sorts profit numbers alphabetically instead of numerically. Pretty sure that is a sign of the quality of the rest of the reporting here as well.

It's no longer capitalistic profit, it's more like feudal rent. Meta/Amazon are effectively taxing all the society.

I think only measuring profits and not taking into account total revenue is not a fair comparison. Especially when there are companies that make insane revenue and little profit due to commodity cycles.
