What Sentry's 16GB selfhosted taught me
Sentry's self-hosted docs warn you need 16GB RAM and 20+ containers because the official install is a full observability platform with tracing, replay, and profiling. If you only need grouped exceptions on a small VPS, that's overkill. Epure is a two-container alternative — Rust plus PostgreSQL 16, Apache 2.0 — that swaps the DSN and skips the rest. Dated docker stats show about 53 MiB combined idle on a 2 vCPU / 769 MiB VPS.
The crash is the same crash. The invoice is a second incident.

I don’t have a problem with llm-generated/assisted software, but I can’t handle LLM-generated blog posts. I read enough LLM output everyday already.

Reads like classic Opus slop from before 5.5 - the first few paragraphs are absolutely impenetrable to someone who hasn’t read the prompt used to generate it, there’s nothing to introduce the context or background and it’s full of invented jargon summarising concepts that are never actually described.
