Ask HN: Who is smarter than you that you listen to what they have to say?
I am trying to figure out how business and world economics are going to evolve in the next 3, 5, 10 years. I am pretty smart, but I am surely not the smartest; and I enjoy listening to what Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, Dario and SamA have to say. Who is on your short (or long) list?
My experience after 45y on earth: Smart people don't listen to others, others listen to smart people. So, I don't listen to anyone. There is so much words and so less meaning. As soon some one opens his mouth, words and tone tend to manipulate (steer) another. I hear, but don't listen :)
I find the people you listed deranged. Their view of our future is dark, paranoid and worse than the present.
