Fly.exe runs the complete male Drosophila CNS connectome—165,122 neurons and 25.5 million synapses—inside a physical fly body in a closed loop on a single GPU. Twelve flies, each with its own neural state, navigate a MuJoCo scene, responding to visual cues and physically interacting with objects. This project demonstrates the feasibility of whole-brain emulation and provides a transparent, reproducible platform for computational neuroscience. It's not a digital twin but a powerful tool for exploring neural circuits and embodied behavior.
