Rockstar Had a Mole in the Union Discord Server for Over Two and a Half Years
Rockstar had a mole in the union worker discord server

During a Glasgow employment tribunal, Rockstar revealed it had a whistleblower inside the Rockstar Game Workers Union Discord server for over two and a half years. The company fired 34 workers in October 2025 for gross misconduct, alleging leaks of confidential GTA 6 details. The union claims the mole fed HR information on activists and membership numbers, and that the firings were meant to crush organizing before it won official recognition. Both sides dispute the server's security and the severity of the leaked material.
The "mole" is said to have "supplied screenshots and recordings, reported union meetings, training sessions and union membership numbers, and identified individual union activists".

"At some point in this period, they go on, Rockstar management got hold of logins for the server, with Rockstar's vice president of information security Abid Ansari eventually signing in to download 'the contents of the Announcements and General channels'. Rockstar began firing members of the Discord at the end of the month."
Is this legal in the UK?

This fall, buy Ocarina of Time and not GTA 6.
Rockstar deserves no sales.

Sounds like Discord also has a case against RockStar because their ToS expressly forbids sharing login credentials.
You wanted your IPO money, Discord? Suing the shit out of RockStar and winning is the way to go here.
