A 386 Demoscene Vortex: Navier-Stokes in Under 1KB

Inspired by OpenAI's Navier-Stokes announcement, a developer created two sub-1KB MS-DOS demos for the 386: a palette-cycling Burgers vortex and a real-time particle simulation. The programs, written in 386 assembly, run in DOSBox and achieve 946 and 1,072 bytes respectively, with JavaScript versions for experimentation.
The result is 946 bytes: 896 of code, and 50 of data for the random seed, two counters, and the ramp, gain and hue values the colours are built from.
