Apple wants to train AI on your private personal data

Apple's third-generation Foundation Models, built with Google, power a new Siri and smarter apps. The on-device AFM 3 Core Advanced uses a sparse architecture to run 20 billion parameters on flash memory, while server models run on Private Cloud Compute, which never stores or shares user data. Apple states it does not use private personal data or user interactions for training.
