FreeBSD 14.5-RELEASE Now Available

The FreeBSD Release Engineering Team has announced FreeBSD 14.5-RELEASE, the sixth release of the stable/14 branch. Focused on maintenance, it brings bug fixes, driver updates, and refreshed third-party software rather than new features. Available for amd64, i386, arm64, and more, it can be installed via ISO, USB, or network. Pre-built VM images and cloud images for AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure are also provided. Support continues until June 30, 2027.

Since this release is occurring late in a legacy stable branch, there are few new features; rather, the focus is primarily on maintenance.
