Aardman Is Auctioning Off Its Original Wallace and Gromit Puppets
Aardman (Wallace and Gromit) Is Selling Its Original Movie Puppets
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, British claymation studio Aardman is auctioning nearly 250 items from its productions, including original puppets from Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, and Morph, its first series from 1977. The global auction, run with PropStore, starts September 24 and also features props and signed posters from recent films like Chicken Run 2 and Shaun the Sheep. Proceeds will fund talent development programs for aspiring animators.
The auction has been 'carefully curated by the studio’s creative talent and includes contributions…produced in celebration of this unique moment to connect with our fans.'

This is a surprising headline for anyone who remembers the huge fire they had in '05:
"Curses, Gromit! Fire destroys animation firm's history on eve of box office triumph"

I only wish there were more pieces involving one of my favorite villains; Feathers McGraw.

Might be a dumb question but are they actually made of clay?
