Alix E. Harrow Wins 2026 Hugo Award for Best Novel

At LAcon V, the 84th World Science Fiction Convention, the 2026 Hugo Awards were presented on August 30. Alix E. Harrow's 'The Everlasting' took Best Novel, while Amal El-Mohtar's 'The River Has Roots' won Best Novella. The ceremony also honored works like 'Murderbot: All Systems Red' for Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form) and 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33' for Best Game. The Best Poem category continued its trial run, with Elis Montgomery winning for 'Hex Supply Customer Support Log'.
