NASA's $4.3 billion Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is set to launch Aug. 30, aiming to unravel the universe's expansion and discover exoplanets. Built from a repurposed spy satellite, Roman will survey the Milky Way in a month—a task that would take Hubble a century—and its data will be open to all, from high school students to professors.
