The US State Department has designated the Italian collective Autistici/Inventati, which runs the privacy-focused blogging platform NoBlogs.org, as a 'Specially Designated Global Terrorist.' The designation, which also targets Palestine Action and Masar Badil, cites the collective's 'far-left' politics and alleged support for groups like Rose City Antifa—a claim that appears to be based on a conflation with a different project. The move, which takes effect September 25, 2026, blocks transactions with the collective and is seen as an attempt to suppress dissident media and criminalize domestic protesters.
Anti-fascism and anti-capitalism are not terrorism. Protesting is not terrorism. And everyone has the right to speak out and to struggle for humanity.
