XCancel, a service that let users cancel their X (formerly Twitter) subscriptions, has gone offline. The site's operators say they received a cease-and-desist letter from X Corp. on Monday, August 24th, at 8 PM EST, and have stopped the service pending legal advice. They thank users for two years of trust but offer no further details.
