Apple has introduced the M6 and M5 Ultra chips, marking a significant advancement in performance and AI capabilities. The M6, built on a cutting-edge 2 nm process, features a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine, delivering up to 2x the AI compute of previous generations. The M5 Ultra, Apple's most powerful chip ever, uses a quad-die architecture with up to an 80-core GPU and 1.2TB/s of unified memory bandwidth, enabling massive AI workloads and demanding pro tasks. Both chips debut in the new Mac mini and Mac Studio, offering industry-leading power efficiency.
