Microsoft has released Agent Lightning v1.0.1, the first official version of a skill that helps coding agents improve other AI agents. By providing an editable agent and a benchmark, the skill guides systematic enhancements to prompts, tools, workflows, models, and reasoning settings, balancing accuracy, cost, latency, and reliability through measured iteration.
