Kmart Digicam Mod Part 2: A $20 Projector Lens Almost Fits
Mason continues his Kmart digicam mod, now with a $20 eBay lens that turned out to be a super 8 projector lens. He redesigned the adapter to fit the larger 32mm thread, but the lens won't infinity focus. The fix requires moving the sensor closer, but it's already pressed against the chassis. Paper shims didn't help, so he's pondering a more physical solution.
The only problem is that it is already pressed as closed as it can go up against the existing chassis of the digicam.
