x262: x264 with MPEG-2 Support
x262 is a fork of x264 that adds MPEG-2 encoding support, part of the Open Broadcast Encoder project. It aims to provide a high-performance MPEG-2 encoder with the familiar x264 interface, targeting broadcast and professional video applications.
This General Public License applies to most of the Free Software Foundation's software and to any other program whose authors commit to using it.
