scScript: A C-like scripting language for Linux

scScript is a C-like scripting language that compiles to bytecode and runs in a fast virtual machine. It features pointer-less scripting with 64-bit integers, doubles, immutable UTF-8 strings, auto-growing arrays, dictionaries, closures, coroutines, and tail-call optimization. Integrated with scEmacs, a small display editor, it offers color syntax highlighting, multiple buffers, and incremental search. Written in C for 64-bit Linux, it's easy to customize, port, extend, and embed.

scScript is a powerful but simple to use C-like scripting language.

I wanted to write a love note to C... and if you hate it, it is all my fault.

The dual in/out parameter idea is interesting. Looking forward to trying it.

Can this trans-compile to C? (And vice versa?)
