Run Android ARM64 VR APKs on Apple Vision Pro
Klepton is a compatibility layer that lets you run Android ARM64 VR apps, like Beat Saber, on Apple Vision Pro and macOS without a JIT. It translates Android .so libraries into Apple dylibs and frameworks, and maps graphics APIs: GLES 3.2 to ANGLE (with Metal backend) and Vulkan to MoltenVK. The project currently supports Java-thin apps, with Beat Saber working on both platforms, though some graphical issues remain.
Beat Saber is working on macOS and visionOS with minor graphical issues, Steam VR Link and improving generalizability/build tooling is still WIP.

This is incredible. Even though Apple seems hell-bent on repeating their iPad mistake on Vision Pro ("A baby computer because our users are morons and we have to keep them safe from any theoretical harm. Also, any kind of software development outside of macOS is strictly forbidden"), there is a small tinker community that works on genuinely making iPadOS useful. Another example (also shared here recently) is this:

Any screenshots of this? I didn’t see one in the README

I'm sure Apple will love this.

nice work!
was reading kl_x18.h and darwin zeroes x18 on any exception return, timer interrupt included, so a quest app can't keep state there for even one scheduling window

I would appreciate an LLM usage disclosure
