Holocloth: The Fabric That Renders Itself
Holocloth is a web-based project that explores the concept of a fabric that can display dynamic images and patterns, essentially a programmable textile. The demo showcases a virtual cloth that responds to user interaction, changing its appearance in real-time. Built with modern web technologies, it hints at a future where clothing and materials are not just passive but interactive and adaptive.
Imagine a fabric that can change its pattern, color, or even display information, all at the touch of a button.

Wish this had support for multitouch. Great work otherwise!

Looks like the collision detection is missing and the cloth just intersects itself?

I must flatten it and smooth the wrinkles

I don't know why but I just LOVE holographic effects. Looks gorgeous!

Hit detection doesn't seem to be always getting the nearest surface to the camera: if there's a folded-over corner in front of the main surface, it almost always seems to move the 'main' part of the 'fabric' behind the folded corner, rather than allowing dragging just the corner in front.
